As we continue our Ephesians series, Reinier unpacks Ephesians 4:1 to 16 and challenges us to live lives worthy of the calling we have received in Christ.
Drawing on the remarkable story of the Moravian Revival, Reinier shows how God moves powerfully through a united, praying Church. Paul reminds us that the Church is called by God, united by the Holy Spirit, and empowered with unique gifts to build one another up and reach the world with the Gospel.

Three marks of a healthy church
A Called Church
– We have been called to represent Christ in the world.
– Our calling is to display God’s goodness and make His kingdom known.
– Ephesians moves from who we are in Christ to how we live because of Christ.
A United Church
– Unity is a gift from God that we are called to protect.
– Paul points to humility, gentleness and patience as the qualities that preserve unity.
– The more we abide in Jesus, the more naturally we grow together in love.
An Empowered Church
– Every believer has been given spiritual gifts.
– Our gifts are for building up the Church and serving others.
– When every member plays their part, the whole body grows in maturity and love.
