Each Easter, we commemorate and rejoice in the revelation that Jesus Christ has laid down his life out of love for every person. It was this gift of sacrificial love that atoned for our sin and opened the door to a personal relationship with God and the wonderful gift of eternal life.
We extend a warm invitation to every person to join us for Easter as we delve into the uplifting message of Jesus.
Palm Sunday

You are invited to join us at Hills Church for a special Palm Sunday service at 9am! As we commemorate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, we’ll come together in worship, reflection, and celebration. Join us as we lift our voices in praise, marking the beginning of Holy Week. Whether you’re a long-time member or visiting for the first time, all are welcome to experience the joy and significance of Palm Sunday with us. We look forward to seeing you there!
Good Friday

Way of the Cross 8:30am
Tenebrae Service 9am
Join us on Good Friday for the ‘Way of the Cross’ as we gather at the top of the carpark to witness the arrival of the cross (from 8:30am). Together, we will solemnly follow its path down the carpark, symbolising the journey of Jesus to his crucifixion. As we enter the auditorium, our traditional Tenebrae service begins (from 9am). Tenebrae, Latin for “darkness” or “shadows,” is a liturgical service that involves the gradual extinguishing of candles, representing the fading light of the world as Jesus faced his darkest hour on the cross. Through scripture readings and reflective music, we contemplate the sacrifice of Christ and the hope of redemption. Join us as we journey through the Way of the Cross, embracing the solemnity and significance of Good Friday.
Easter Sunday
31st March, 9am
Easter Sunday will be a celebration service followed by a time of family fun! After experiencing the joy of worship and the resurrection message, stay around for an exciting lineup of activities, including a jumping castle and an Easter egg hunt for the kids. It’s a great opportunity to connect with others and create lasting memories together. Don’t miss out on this special day of fellowship, wonder, and celebration. See you there!
Easter Family Fun

Following our Easter Sunday service, we invite you and your family to stay for a morning filled with fun and fellowship. Let the kids bounce around in our jumping castle while you enjoy a delightful morning tea with fellow members of the church community. And don’t forget the kids are invited to join in on the thrill of our Easter egg hunt. It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together and create good memories. We can’t wait to share this special day with you!
