Meet Our Missionaries

Greg & Shirley Carlson

Greg is from Jackson, Mississippi, USA, and Shirley, from New Zealand, but was raised in Australia. We have four adult children.

We have served in countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Russia and Uruguay. Greg served as Church Planting Director for Ecuador & Colombia, then as Member Care Director for Latin America. Shirley trained new missionaries & directed World Intercessors to saturate the OMS Global Mission with Spirit-anointed prayer.

We recently transitioned to join the One Mission Society Australia team in Melbourne.

Testimony

As I travel through Asia, supporting and uplifting missionaries, I am amazed by their unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the Gospel to those who have yet to encounter Jesus Christ. Prayer fuels growth in the community. One Thai Christian said, “Since the Australian church began praying for us, we’ve seen at least one person come to Christ each week.” I witnessed two new believers visiting a sick, bedridden woman, wiping away her tears with kindness and compassion. ~Greg

Praying with people in their sadness or pain, joining them in lifting up burdens, warms my heart. What joy to see God minister with peace and answer in ways far greater than we anticipated. What a mighty God we serve!~ Shirley
