Can you believe it? Isn’t it just like God to do something unexpected that often doesn’t match with what we think is the obvious path. It seems that he’s done that with Shelley and I and he’s done that with all of you as well. Thank you to our Lord for his wisdom and leading.

When I look to the future for Hills Church I can’t help but be excited. This season at Hills will be one of forward momentum. Forward with our deepening and growing faith, and forward with our seeking of God’s spirit to move powerfully amongst us as we strive to live the mission He has called us to. That mission is wider than those of us already fellowshipping at Hills, there are thousands of people living and working around us who are in the dark, and need to find the light. We have a serious role to play.

This Sunday is a communion service. We come to the Lord’s table together to remember our God’s ultimate act of love and to partake again in His Grace. I would dearly love to see you and your family there. Please consider this a personal invitation from me.
