I’ve finished week 2 of our reading plan which took us right to the end of Luke. I must admit, it took some time (perhaps an hour and a half) but wow it was so good to read such a large chunk of Luke’s biography of Jesus.

What stood out to me? The authority of Jesus. He had authority when he preached. He had authority to forgive sin (only God can do that!), he had authority to command the weather, he had authority over illness and disease. He had authority to command others to follow him. There will never be anyone like him on this earth again, until he returns.

Keep reading church! If it means giving up some TV or internet time, it’s so worth it!

We had a great prayer service on Wednesday night. We prayed for Afghanistan and we prayed for our CAP ministry. It was a great night of focusing on God.

Next Wednesday is right in the middle of Passion week. Our focus will be on the crucifixion of Christ. This is also a great time for us to bring before the Lord the names of our family and friends who are not in relationship with Him. If you’re praying for someone who is not saved, please come along and we will all pray earnestly together for those people – that they would encounter Jesus. This is one of those times when we should all come together as a church to pray, so if possible, please join us. If you’re praying from home you can send in the names of anyone you want us to pray for.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday at 9am as we gather to worship our God together.

God Bless
Pastor Nathan
