Can I just say, I’m really excited about our future. We have some firm foundations that I believe have been laid under the leadership and anointing of Pastor Lex. But there is so much more to come. Now is the time to desperately wait on the Lord for His will for us; His vision for us and most of all to seek His powerful hand to reach out into our lives, and our church, to see His purpose revealed AND fulfilled.

The theme for the next few months is Renew. This is a great time of the year for us to review our walk with the Lord and bring renewal where it is needed. Renewal is important for us individually and as a church. When we don’t renew, we usually tend to stagnate or even slip away from God.

I encourage you this year to get excited about being part of God’s church at Hills and to join me in praying for God to move in a powerful way among us, to bring renewal, to grow us closer to him, and to seek and find His will.

Remember the promise in Isaiah for those who wait in the Lord.

“But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31 (NLT)

See you on Sunday when we baptise three more people who want to publicly declare their faith in Christ. How exciting is that!
